 Important Information for Participants

Individuals planning to travel to Rome for participation in European Forest Week activities at the Food and Agriculture Organization headquarters are personally responsible for ascertaining whether they need a visa from the Italian Government for entry into Italy.

Participants requiring entry visas must obtain them from the Italian Consulate or competent Diplomatic Mission serving their country before leaving for Rome. It should be noted that visa applications must be filed well in advance of the day of departure, as the issuance of an Italian entry visa may require as much as a month or more.
